The Initiative for Equality and Non-Discrimination (INEND) is a local not-for-profit organisation that undertakes strategic actions towards equality, acceptance and inclusion in the Coast Region of Kenya. INEND’s programming is innovative, courageous and visionary and is carried out by a passionate, professional and dedicated team. The activities we will be undertaking in this strategic plan are exciting and proactive, and will be consciously supportive of our SGM communities.
INEND as a non-membership organisation, is accessible to all, and remains committed to entrenching equality and non-discrimination, and the rights of sexual and gender minorities. With the flagship boda boda project, INEND has made considerable progress in the few years of its existence, not only curving out a niche for itself, but also distinguishing itself with trendsetting advocacy, capacity development and published research.
